Mask Fist Test Appointment Instructions

1. Men must be clean-shaven for the fit test, no beards of any length are allowed, mustaches are ok. (review the CDC guidelines on acceptable facial hair).

• Please consult with your employer or school if you are unable to shave due to religious reasons.

• A fit test cannot be done on anyone with a beard as per OHSA and CAN/CSA Standards.

2. Do not smoke, chew gum, eat or drink anything for at least 20 minutes before the mask fit test. You may have water, but nothing else.

3. Please review the Respirator Fit-Testing Medical questionnaire prior to your appointment. You don't need to print this, it will be provide to you at your appointment.

• If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, contact us to discuss.

• If you have Asthma, please bring your puffers with you.

4. You will receive a text-SMS reminder after booking your appointment. Please reply to this to confirm your appointment. (Check your junk/spam folder if not received)

5. You do not need to purchase a N95 mask, it will be provided to you. We provide testing on the following 3M N95 masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S, 8210, 9210+, 8110s, 1804, 1804s, 9105 and 9105s. If you require any other masks or half/full face respirator to be fitted, please contact us.

6. You will receive a Respirator / N95 Mask Fit Certification Card immediately following the fit test. The certification card is valid for 2 years from test date (OHSA).

7. Payments at the Brampton office are to be made by CASH or E-Transfer only at the time of the appointment.

• No refunds or last-minute cancellations. Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation.

• If you fail to show up to your scheduled appointment, you will be responsible to pay the full fee.

• Please be on time for your scheduled appointment, or you may need to be rescheduled for a later date and time.

9. Student / Healthcare Worker Promo

• Offer: $10 off the mask fit test

• Eligibility: Must be a student of a Canadian College or University, or a health care worker.

• How to Redeem:
  a) Book online - Choose the Student Promo option ($50 Mask Fit Test)
  b) Show your student/work ID or proof of enrollment at your appointment
  c) Payment is done in person.

10. Group Discount - If you are booking for larger groups or want us to come to your school or workplace please call us and ask about our group discount.
